Information

I'm a hobby photographer living just outside Trondheim, Norway.

I have been taking photos on and off since 1982. In 1997, I bought my first digital camera, with a resolution of 640x480 pixels. All though the resolution is terrible by today's standards, it was great; I could actually see my photos immediately, which was quite different from having to wait for development and print. I've been an active photographer since 2001, and have also been on the board of Trondhjems Kameraklubb (Trondheim Photography Club) .

I've been taking different types of photos. A lot of landscapes and sunsets, and I love the ocean. In the last years I've become more and more fascinated by photographing people, and have done several photo shoots.

I started using Paint Shop Pro version 5 back sometime, and now I'm using version X2. However, after investing in Adobe Lightroom, I don't spend a lot of time in Paint Shop anymore. I'm now using Adobe Lightroom version 3.3. I don't understand how I ever managed without such fantastic tool for working with a lot of photos.

I've also been working with movies, where I started with Super 8, and "manual" film editing, using a splitter and physically gluing the film strips together, before gluing on a tiny magnetic soundtrack, and adding sound. I moved to digital video editing, and invested in Adobe Premiere 5.0 and a Pinnacle DV500 card in the early 90's. These days I use Adobe Premiere Pro version 2.0.
